EERP Scorecard

Advisory

Independent help for the decision the scorecard can't make for you.

The assessment tells you which systems fit and where you're not ready. Advisory is for the part after that: pressure-testing the shortlist, scripting the demos, and getting the contract right. No vendor pays me. You do, and that's the point.

Who runs this

I'm Brady Justice, an independent ERP consultant. My day job is mid-market finance systems: selections, implementations, and the cleanup work that follows both when they go wrong. I built ERP Scorecard because the selection advice available to mid-market companies is mostly vendor marketing wearing a referee shirt. More about me and how this site is funded.

How engagements work

Three fixed shapes. Every engagement starts with the free debrief, and most stop there.

Shortlist debrief

Free · 30 minutes

You bring your scored report. We walk your shortlist, the readiness gaps that matter, and what to fix before you sit through a single demo. No pitch and no follow-up sequence. Most companies need nothing more than this call.

  • Sanity-check your top two or three systems against your profile
  • Which readiness gaps will actually hurt you, and which can wait
  • The questions your demos need to answer

Selection sprint

Fixed fee, scoped at the debrief

From requirements to a decision you can defend. I turn your requirements into a weighted scorecard, run the vendor field down to a scored shortlist, and write the demo scripts so vendors show your scenarios instead of their standard tour.

  • Requirements workshop and weighted scoring model
  • Scored shortlist with the reasoning written down
  • Demo scripts built on your transactions, not vendor slides
  • Reference-check questions for each finalist

SOW and negotiation support

Fixed fee, scoped at the debrief

The contract stage is where selection projects quietly fail. I review the SOW for scope gaps, missing protective terms, and pricing structured to grow at renewal, then help you negotiate the fixes before signature.

  • Line-by-line SOW review with a written risk list
  • Scope gaps priced before they become change orders
  • License and renewal terms benchmarked against market anchors

Book the free debrief

30 minutes, your report on screen, no pitch. Come with your shortlist and leave with a demo plan.

How this business makes money

  • No vendor pays to appear, rank, or be recommended anywhere on this site.
  • The site is funded by this advisory practice. Clients pay for my time, which keeps the scoring answerable to buyers, not sellers.
  • Scoring is deterministic and published. Same answers, same results, whether or not you ever talk to me.
  • Where referral relationships with implementation partners exist, they are disclosed to the client in writing before any introduction is made.
